When the Standard snap-in capacitor at home is damaged, do you know how to solder it yourself?
Below is WEET's guide to capacitor soldering steps:
Pre-soldering Preparation
Before inspecting the capacitor lugs, carefully check whether the Standard snap-in capacitor pins are oxidized or deformed. Meanwhile, clean the circuit board and ensure there is no residual flux left.
Component Positioning
Align the Snap mount capacitor lugs with the mounting holes, press gently to fully seat the lugs into the holes. Ensure the capacitor body is perpendicular to the circuit board without tilting.
Soldering Operation
Automated Soldering: Send the positioned circuit board to the reflow soldering equipment to complete the soldering process.
Cooling and Cleaning
Allow the solder joints to cool naturally to room temperature. Do not use air cooling to speed up the cooling process. After cooling, use a brush with flux cleaner to remove residual flux.
Post-soldering Inspection
Conduct a visual inspection of the solder joints to check for defects such as cold solder joints and insufficient solder.
All capacitors illustrated below are Standard snap-in capacitors, with models WEC, WEK and WEB respectively. Feel free to contact WEET at any time for your requirements.
